Evangelism and the Black Millennial
Ronald Devin Beverly was the name given to me by my parents. Though they did not know, GOD knew that it was who I would grow into. Ronald means “advisor to the king;” “powerful, rules with counsel,” and “mighty counselor.” My middle name Devin means “poet,” ”divine/perfect,” and “servant.” I thank GOD for the fact that I am indeed the very meaning of my given names.
In addition, I am well versed in life, with much worldly, educational, clinical, political, and socioeconomic experience. However, more importantly, four decades of spiritual warfare, many years of building a personal relationship with the LORD and Bible study at home; direct training by the LORD, submission and brokenness, and the experience of miracles, was the road traveled by this rescued and reconstructed man of GOD. Negotiating great adversity for many years, even the valley of bones, was indeed conducive to a wonderful transformation. Moreover, after decades of living, this man is blessed to be a seasoned Health and Forensic Psychologist, licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, and Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider.
